Frequently asked Questions.

Q. Do you have any puppies?
A. No, we don’t get dogs into rescue until they are young adults.

Q. Are they like German Shepherds?
A. No they are a breed in their own right and have their own personalities and traits.

Q. How long do they live?
A. They are normally a long-lived breed and 12 to 14 years old is not an exception.

Q. Are they easy to train?
A. All dogs take time and patience to train, but they are a very mentally alert breed and work extremely well in Agility, Obedience and Working Trials. They are a breed that enjoys working and they benefit from training. We do have a number of Rescue dogs working well in the above disciplines at the moment and one is being trained as an assist dog.
